Home and Garden products UK retailer looking for a Financial Analyst to work in our Barcelona office, Finance Analyst is a key member of the team, helping Management to forecast company activity, improve profitability, support the fund raising and shape the direction the organisation. This is a challenging role which requires very strong technical expertise, creativity and the ability to forge strong relationships with the Operations team and Management in order to make the right decisions and support company operations.
Key responsibilities:
Full financial planning for all current and new company’s projects;
Full accounts and reporting for all required HMRC and Companies House reports;
Financial analyses of current operations;
Work with Excel and GPO CRM system in order to enter all entry details incl. expenses and income;
Salaries and Wages calculations and reporting;
Any extra work, required to support our current operations including not direct responsibilities, where manager will treat as required;
Preparation all financial reporting and presentations for finance companies where required;
Oversee and track spending and cost optimisation;
Billing and forecasting revenue;
Key skills and experience:
Advanced Excel and Power Point knowledge;

The Ideal Candidate:
Relevant commercially focused experience with cost understanding;
Advanced Excel knowledge including confident knowledge of Marcoses mandatory, due to most of your work will be in Excel;
Ability to spot trends and pick out inaccuracies.
Comfortable building detailed financial models for analytical and forecasting purposes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Inquisitive and analytical mind, thriving on tackling complex problems, and constantly building and refining processes with rigour and diligence.
Not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Well organised, able to multi-task and be a team player.
Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial or fast growth environment.
The Terms
This is a full-time role, 9 am – 6 pm. Monday – Friday. You will be based in our central city office at Diagonal. Remote work not permitted. Salary rate is quite negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate. Initially, we have 3-month trial period, on a 12-month contract. This role is solely in English language, due to the core business is in the UK, therefore fluent English is mandatory.
